Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Friday's games in the NBA.

The Brooklyn Nets extended their winning run to five games by beating the Miami Heat after two overtimes.

LeBron James helped the defending NBA champions come from behind in the fourth quarter to force the extra spell, but Shaun Livingston propelled the Nets to dominate the second overtime to clinch the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers were crushed in their contest against the Los Angeles Clippers, losing by 36 points.

Darren Collison, JJ Redick and DeAndre Jordan spread the workload to help the Clippers to their biggest ever win over their local rivals.

The Indiana Pacers pulled away from the Washington Wizards in the second half to clinch a comfortable victory in a low-scoring encounter.

David West and CJ Watson combined for 36 points, while an 11-3 run at the start of the third quarter helped the Pacers open up a commanding lead.

The Detroit Pistons recovered from a poor start to secure a win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

The visitors found themselves six points down midway through the first quarter, but Brandon Jennings made a series of three-pointers to help the team come from behind.

Despite missing players through illness and injury, the Chicago Bulls were able to battle to a win over the Milwaukee Bucks.

There was little between the two sides in the first two quarters, but Carlos Boozer, who was playing for the first time since injuring his knee, scored 19 points to help the Bulls edge ahead.

The New Orleans Pelicans were well-beaten by the Dallas Mavericks, leaving the home side on a four-game losing streak.

The visitors, led by Dirk Nowitzki, started quickly, opening up a 13-point lead by half time before continuing to control the game in the second half.

Luol Deng began his Cleveland Cavaliers career with a win as they beat the Utah Jazz.

The small forward, who joined the team as part of a trade with the Bulls earlier this week, scored 10 points in a 20-minute spell, but it was Kyrie Irving who did the damage for Cleveland, adding 25.

A late shot from Stephen Curry helped the Golden State Warriors claim a narrow win over the Boston Celtics.

Curry, who finished the game with 19 points, made a jump shot with just over two seconds remaining to give the hosts the win.

The Minnesota Timberwolves crushed the Charlotte Bobcats in their meeting at the Target Center.

Nikola Pekovic scored 26 points in his 27-minute spell for the visitors, who never looked like getting caught after a dominant second quarter.

The Atlanta Hawks relied on strong defense to register a narrow win over the Houston Rockets.

The Rockets had a slender lead at half time, but the the hosts were able to halt their scoring after the break, while Kyle Korver and Paul Millsap continued to make baskets.

The Orlando Magic continued their losing streak with a heavy defeat to the Sacramento Kings.

DeMarcus Cousins and Rudy Gay combined for 46 points and 24 rebounds to give the Kings their first back-to-back wins at home in 10 months.
