The Washington Wizards have agreed a deal to sign small forward Paul Pierce, according to a report.
The 36-year-old was available on the free-agent market as the Brooklyn Nets did not offer him a new deal after his contract expired at the end of the 2013-14 season.
Pierce has now signed a two-year deal with the Wizards worth $5.3m (£3.1m), according to the AP.
The forward averaged 13.5 points per game in the last campaign for the Nets.
