John Wall has admitted that there "wasn't really an effort" from the Washington Wizards in the first half of their game against the Sacramento Kings.
The Wizards were 21 points down early in the third quarter before fighting back for a 113-97 win, giving them a third straight victory.
The point guard told ESPN: "In the first half there wasn't really an effort, and they basically did whatever they wanted and got whatever they wanted. We had to come back out and compete in the second half."
Washington play again on Monday when they host the Portland Trail Blazers.
