Algeria's Samir Brahimi has become the first man through to the last 16 of the Olympic flyweight class courtesy of a 14-12 victory over Australia's Jackson Darren Woods.
The Australian started well and had opened up a 6-2 lead over his opponent by the time the second-round bell had sounded.
However, Brahimi worked his way back into the contest and had cut the deficit to just one point as they entered the final three minutes.
Another strong round from the Algerian saw the judges reward him with a two-point triumph.
