Team England boxer Nicola Adams has said that she 'really appreciates' the support she is receiving at the Commonwealth Games.
The 2012 Olympic gold medallist spoke to Sports Mole following her victory over Erandi de Silva in the quarter-finals of the Games on Wednesday afternoon.
"Oh I really appreciate [the support]. One of the fans has given me a flag already so I will be sporting that in the final," Adams said, while wrapped in an England flag.
"I am really pleased with my performance. Everything went to plan, I stuck to the tactics and I think that is what it is about. As long as you stick to the tactics and listen to the coaches then you will always do well."
Adams will face Canada's Mandy Bujold in the semi-finals on Friday.
