France's Nordine Oubaali has blasted Afghanistan's Ajmal Faisal out of the Olympic flyweight tournament.
Oubaali took control of the bout from the first bell, going to work with the left and right to take a 7-2 lead.
Faisal settled into the fight in the second round and found some success with a few shots, but the Frenchman matched him, using some nice footwork before landing a left-right combination.
The fight was all but over as they entered the final round, with Oubaali leading 15-4.
Faisal refused to go down without a fight and came out swinging.
Ouubaali had to hang on slightly as the Afghan went in search of a knockout punch, but the Frenchman was not to be upstaged and the judges rewarded him with a 22-9 verdict.
