India's Jai Bhagwan has comfortably disposed of Andrique Allisop of the Seychelles by a 10-point margin.
Bhagwan was clinical in the opening round and opened up a four-point lead as he kept Allisop at range with his jab.
The Indian continued to assert his dominance in the second and had doubled his lead as they entered the final chapter.
Allisop did land a telling right hand on Bhagwan's chin, but he dealt with it well and responded with a shot of his own.
Bhagwan was quick across the canvas and threw some rapid combinations to secure his place in the next round by virtue of a 18-8 scoreline.
