23.50Goodnight folks!

23.49You can join us once again for live coverage of day five at the ExCel Centre from 1.20pm.

23.46The bantamweights retake the gauntlet, with Luke Campbell taking on Italy's Jayhn Vittorio Parrinello, while Anthony Joshua facing a tough challenge in the form of Cuban super heavyweight Erislandy Savon Cotilla.

23.44However, tomorrow sees the reintroduction of the British fighters.

23.43Day four comes to a close at the ExCel Centre. If truth be told, it was not the best day... yet it all started to well, with fantastic performances from Cuba's Veitia and the 'Little Pacquiao' Barriga. They dazzled in the first two bouts, but it went a bit down hill from there.

23.37Yigit prevails...

23.22On now: Anthony Yigit (Sweden) vs Francisco Vargas Ramirez (Puerto Rico)

23.22Wow - a few question marks over this one. But still, a hearty fightback: Houya battles back

23.11The Azeri looks home and dry, although he is only three points up with three minutes left.

23.06Gadzhialiyev takes a 6-3 lead after the first and is boxing astutely.

23.02Up next: Abderrazak Ouya (Tunisia) vs Gaybatulla Gadzhialiyev (Azerbaijan)

22.48On now: Jeffrey Horn (Australia) vs Gilbert Choombe (Zambia)

22.47Uranchimeg has just produced a masterclass, although Chiladek was a bit poor...

22.28Will we see some fireworks from the Mongolian number two seed?

22.28Next up: Zdenek Chiladek (Czech Republic) vs Munkh-Erdene Uranchimeg (Mongolia)

22.19These guys are going head to head here and trying to bang each other out.

22.12On now: Abdelhak Aatakni (Morocco) vs Richarno Colin (Mauritius)

22.08Kumar has this one. A decent fight, the Indian didn't look too bad.

22.00Even round, which the Indian started well - but he faded a little bit...

21.55The winner of this fight face Tom Stalker. Time for some reconnaisance...

21.55Next up: Serdar Hudayberdiyev (Turkmenistan) vs Manoj Kumar (India)

21.54Aleksandar has crushed Maquina 22-7. Easy! Easy! Easy!

21.42Aleksandrov is having no problems in this one.

21.39On now: Aleksandar Aleksandrov (Bulgaria) vs Juliano Fernando Gento Maquina (Mozambique)

21.22Up next: Mohamed Flissi (Algeria) vs Kaeo Pongprayoon (Thailand)

21.07On now: Jose de la Nieve Linares (Spain) vs Carlos Quipo Pilataxi (Ecuador)

21.02It's fair to say that I'm happy that is over. Pehlivan advances.

20.54Suarez is dancing. At least it's cleaner than the boxing. This is poor.

20.51Scrappy bout this one. They keep tangling and stumbling. It's not very pretty.

20.48On now: Ferhat Pehlivan (Turkey) vs Carlos Suarez (Trinidad and Tobago)

20.46So yeah, it was confidence... 20-6 to Ortiz.

20.34Good start, though 8-1 to Ortiz is baffling...

20.30Ortiz looks quite relaxed. He's smiling as he comes to the ring. Confidence? Well, let's see...

20.23We're moments away from the first bout of the evening, a light flyweight contest between Jantony Ortiz Marcano (Puerto Rico) and Tetteh Sulemanu (Ghana).

20.22Welcome back to Sports Mole for our live text commentary of the Olympic boxing.

16.28That's the end of the afternoon session. Some great performances so far today. Join us from 8.30pm tonight for the evening session from the ExCel Centre. Bye for now...

16.11On now: Gyula Kate (Hungary) vs Eslam Mohamed (Egypt)

16.04On now: Jonathan Alonso Flete (Spain) vs Mehdi Toloutibandpi (Iran)

15.54Yeleussinov has destroyed Herring by ten points.

15.38On now: Jamel Herring (United States) vs Daniyar Yeleussinov (Kazakhstan)

15.36Sener has won 19-10.

15.24Sener looks fast, Ambomo looks strong. Interesting fight.

15.21Ambomo looks a bit like Floyd Mayweather. Omen?

15.20Next up: Serge Ambomo (Cameroon) vs Yakup Sener (Turkey)

15.03Next up: Anderson Rojas Mina (Ecuador) vs Uktamjon Rahmonov (Uzbekistan)

14.58No problems for the Cuban. He's into the next round.

14.55Iglesias is coasting. He leads 14-6 after the second.

14.50Iglesias grew as the round went on and looks decent.

14.45Next up: Roniel Iglesias (Cuba) vs Cesar Villarraga Aldana (Colombia)

14.42It's over. Laishram overpowers Molina.

14.40Big right hand from Laishram sends Molina down. Good start for the Indian.

14.38Next up: Devendro Singh Laishram (India) vs Bayron Molina Figueroa (Honduras)

14.23On now: Thomas Essomba (Cameroon) vs Abdelali Daraa (Morocco)

14.17He hasn't and Zhakypov takes an 18-17 decision.

14.17Very close fight. Could go either way. Has Beccu hung on?

14.14Close fight. Beccu leads by one and is coming on strong.

14.106-6 after the first round, with Beccu pressing and Zhakypov countering. Nice mix of styles.

14.04Next up: Birzhan Zhakypov (Kazakhstan) vs Jeremy Beccu (France)

14.01Well, Barriga produces a performance every bit as good as Veitia's. Very fast and slick. Fantastic.

13.52Barriga is a very fast counter-puncher. Cappai can't land and is being caught time and time again.

13.47Next up: Mark Barriga (Philippines) vs Manuel Cappai (Italy)

13.46Well that was an easy victory for Veitia, who wins 26-4.

13.40The Cuban is not being tested, but looks very silky.

13.34Veitia looks very comfortbale and rather graceful on his feet. He leads 7-1.

13.29With all the rows over empty seats, the boxing has to be one of the best supported events of the Games so far. 10,000 have filled the arena to capacity for the first three days and it looks like today will be no different.

13.25First up: Billy Ward (Australia) vs Yosbany Veitia Soto (Cuba)

13.25Welcome to day four. It's the light-fly and light-welters today, featuring Cuba's Roniel Iglesias and Jamel Herring of the United States.
