Long-term rivals Amir Khan and Kell Brook are finally scheduled to square off in the ring, a bout being scheduled for February 19 in Manchester.
The two British fighters have been world champions at 140lbs and 147lbs respectively without having settled their dislike for each other in the ring.
However, it was announced on talkSPORT on Saturday evening that the pair have agreed to square off in Manchester early next year.
'Boxxer' promoter Ben Shalom revealed on the channel that a press conference would be held on Monday to formally announce the fight.
Khan has only fought five times in five-and-a-half years, his two defeats during that time coming at the hands of Saul Alvarez and Terence Crawford.
While Khan has been out of the ring since July 2019, Brook has competed just twice since December 2018, his last outing in November 2020 ending in a fourth-round defeat to welterweight world champion Crawford. body check tags ::
