WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns has revealed that he could face Adrien Broner later in the year.
Burns has reportedly turned down the opportunity to fight the undefeated WBC lightweight champion in the past, but the Scot has insisted that the two could meet in the latter part of 2013.
The 29-year-old told Sky Sports News: "There's still talk about this fight happening. When I was speaking to Eddie Hearn, he said that his team has actually been in touch to see about it.
"Eddie's said that my next fight is definitely in Glasgow, but it's a possibility for later on in the year."
The two-weight world champion is scheduled to make his next title defence on May 11.
