British lightweight Ricky Burns has been handed an encounter with Dejan Zlaticanin as he looks to find a route to another world title opportunity.
Burns lost his WBO title in March when he was outclassed by unbeaten American Terence Crawford, but the Scot has been granted a high-profile clash on his return to the ring in Glasgow on June 27.
The contest with Zlaticanin, who is ranked number nine with the WBC, is for the Montenegro fighter's international title with that organisation, while the bout has also been made an official eliminator for the world title.
The 30-year-old is unbeaten in 18 professional encounters, with 13 of his victories coming inside the distance.
