David Price has said that his potential fight with Tyson Fury "needs to happen".
The British and Commonwealth champion overcame Matt Skelton on Friday night in Liverpool, while Fury beat Kevin Johnson in Belfast on Saturday night.
Now, the Liverpudlian fighter says that the rumoured clash must go ahead.
"We need to make the most of the situation, otherwise the rivalry is wasted, which would be a shame," admitted Price.
"We need to make this fight. It's easier said than done but we need to get round the table and get this sorted because we've got to cross at some stage. It is good [the heavyweight division] still gets attention and it would be good if me and Fury could fight."
Price has a career record of 15-0 with 13 knockout victories.
