British super-middleweight James DeGale will face American Brandon Gonzales in a final eliminator for the IBF title.
It was revealed late last week that DeGale had parted ways with previous promoter Hennessy Sports, which has seen the former Olympic goal medallist link up with Eddie Hearn's Matchroom Sport.
After being revealed at a London press conference on Thursday afternoon, Hearn also revealed that DeGale would feature on the undercard of the Wembley showdown for the IBF and WBA super-middleweight straps between Carl Froch and George Groves on May 31.
If DeGale prevails against Gonzales, who is unbeaten in 20 encounters, he will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF belt, which will lead to another big domestic showdown with either Froch or Groves.
