American super-middleweight Andre Dirrell has revealed that he would offer Carl Froch a chance to reclaim the IBF title if he can defeat James DeGale in their upcoming fight.
Dirrell and DeGale will meet for the vacant world belt in the United States later in the spring, but Dirrell has admitted that he still has his sights on Froch, who inflicted his only professional defeat in 2009.
The 31-year-old told Fighthype.com: "I'm thinking win, win, win and that's all I see in my head, man. Winning is the only thing I know.
"I've got one defeat; cheated but never defeated against Carl Froch and once I get that IBF, if he wants to get a shot at it and come back for it, then by all means I'm right here man.
"DeGale first then Froch. I am putting my ducks in a row because I know I'm gonna handle the job man."
A date and venue for the encounter between Dirrell and DeGale is likely to be announced next week.
