Former IBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch has proposed a street fight to Joe Calzaghe.
The pair have had a public falling out on Twitter in recent days, which started when Calzaghe suggested that new IBF super middleweight champion James DeGale would beat Froch if they had a match.
Froch has called out the Welshman and accused Calzaghe's son of sending rude messages about his long-term girlfriend.
He told iflTV: "He put: 'DeGale looked good against [Andre] Dirrell, I bet he'd whoop Froch'. Why? Why? Why say he'd whoop Froch, what's the point? You've been retired eight years, no one is bothered about your opinion. You could have fought me and you didn't as everybody knows, just leave me alone.
"He is obsessed with the Cobra and he is jealous as I told him. So that stated the beef and it's carried on and on and it's ended with his son sending me direct messages about my misses. I won't talk about what he said but it properly lowered the tone and he's let himself and his family down really.
"If you want to sort it out, fight me. You could have fought me and you didn't. If you want to fight me, here I am. Let's do it on the cobbles if you want, forget boxing. Let's do it outside, let's get it sorted like men."
Froch is due to make a decision on his future next week as he considers retirement.
