Carl Froch has claimed that a potential fight between himself and James DeGale would draw a huge amount of publicity.
The WBA and IBF super-middleweight champion has beaten George Groves in his previous two fights, and he could face fellow Brit DeGale in his next outing.
"Any contest between me and him would be huge," Froch told the Daily Star. "It would be a domestic fight between a legend of the sport and an Olympic champion.
"He wants to be the first British gold medallist to go on and win a world title and a fight between us would create plenty of interest."
De Gale's only professional loss was against Groves in 2011.
