Carl Froch will resume training in a two weeks after an x-ray showed that no serious damage had been sustained to his right hand.
The 34-year-old had complained of soreness following his IBF super-middleweight title victory over Lucian Bute on Saturday night and he went to hospital after the fight to have the injury assessed.
"Just been to hospital and the x-ray on my right hand has come back clear. I will resume training in two weeks," Froch announced on Twitter.
Meanwhile, Frotch has identified Mikkel Kessler as the man who he wants to make his next opponent.
