IBF and WBA super-middleweight champion Carl Froch has insisted that he is excited to have the opportunity to "shut" George Groves up when they meet in the ring for a second time on May 31.
Froch has previously claimed that he had several options available to him after controversially stopping Groves in November, but the Nottingham fighter has revealed that he will be motivated to try to claim a second success.
The 36-year-old told Sky Sports News: "There were a couple of options out there for me, but this seemed to be the option that the British public want and the fight that everyone is talking about.
"I'm excited now to finally get it on, and I am motivated to finally shutting George Groves up and behind me."
A venue for the encounter, which is likely to be a Premier League football ground, will be confirmed in the coming days.
