Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury says that he would like to face Tony Bellew after David Haye was forced to undergo surgery on a bicep injury.

Tyson Fury has put himself into the mix to face Tony Bellew after David Haye was forced to withdraw from his rematch with the Liverpudlian through injury.

On Monday, Haye announced that he had undergone surgery on a bicep injury, which has resulted in his December 17 showdown with Bellew at London's O2 Arena being scrapped.

Fury is currently attempting to resolve his ongoing situation with UKAD, but the former heavyweight world champion has called on Bellew and Matchroom Sport to face him should he be given permission to make a comeback early in 2018.

Fury has not fought since he dethroned unified world champion Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015, but the 29-year-old is keen to face Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder in 2018.

Last week, Fury suggested that facing former rival David Price was a possibility for the early part of next year.
