British heavyweight Tyson Fury has insisted that he expected Wladimir Klitschko to withdraw from their scheduled world title fight on October 24.
Earlier on Friday, it was revealed that Klitschko had suffered a calf injury during training, resulting in their Dusseldorf showdown being put back to a later date.
However, despite the Ukrainian taking the list of high-profile withdrawals against Fury to four, after David Haye twice and Dereck Chisora, the 27-year-old has called on fans not to feel sorry for him.
Klitschko's manager Bernd Bonte has said that a new date for the bout, which will remain at the ESPIRIT Arena, will be announced next week.
