Tyson Fury says that preparation will be the key to victory in his eagerly-anticipated British heavyweight clash with David Haye on September 28.

Tyson Fury has spoken of the hard work and sacrifice he has made in order to prepare for his heavyweight showdown with David Haye.

The 25-year-old has locked himself away at a training base in Belgium for the past 10 weeks as he plots the downfall of the former WBA champion.

Although he admits being apart from his family is difficult to handle, the Manchester-born fighter believes that meticulous preparation is necessary for victory on September 28.

"If one man's prepared 5% better than the next man, it can make a difference in a close boxing fight," Fury told Sky Sports News. "Being out here is very tranquil, very quiet. Just nothing else to do, just eat, train and sleep.

"When you go back after being away for 10 weeks [my children] have learned a whole lot of stuff that you have missed out on, but it's part of my job. Bills have got to be paid and things have got to happen, so sacrifices must be made."

He added: "He's nothing special, he hasn't got 16 arms or three heads or whatever. He's just a normal man with a pair of gloves on, made of blood and bones. I don't fear him 1%."

Fury is unbeaten in 21 fights.
