Unbeaten super middleweight George Groves has been handed a tune-up fight on the undercard of tomorrow night's WBO title bout between Arthur Abraham and Robert Stieglitz in Germany.
Groves will fight German-based journeyman Baker Barakat, who has 37 of his 54 professional contests.
An eight-round contest in Magdeburg will mark the second time Groves has boxed in as many weeks since signing for Matchroom Boxing.
A third-round knockout victory over Dario German Balmacheda at Wembley Arena marked the start of Groves's promotional deal with Eddie Hearn, which will see him act as chief support to Carl Froch's rematch with Mikkel Kessler in May.
Both fighters weighed in successfully earlier this afternoon, with Groves thought to be targeting a world-title opportunity against the winner of Abraham against Steiglitz.
