Ricky Hatton has said that he will not let his fans down when takes on Vyacheslav Senchenko at the Manchester Arena tomorrow night.
The 34-year-old is stepping into the ring for the first time since being knocked out in the second round of his bout with Manny Pacquiao three years ago.
Both he and Senchenko weighed in at 10st 6lbs today in front of a packed audience, eager to support 'The Hitman'.
After getting off the scales, Hatton grabbed the microphone and shouted to his fans: "You've done it again for me haven't you? You've always been there for me.
"The support. The people who've paid for the tickets. The people who've stuck up for me in these last three years since I've been away.
"Well I'm back now and I won't let you down on Saturday night. You watch."
Senchenko lost his WBA World welterweight title to Paulie Malignaggi in May.
