Shawn Hawk has been named as the fighter to go up against Nathan Cleverly in a WBO light-heavyweight bout this weekend.
The 25-year-old, who will be defending his title for the fourth time, was originally scheduled to go up against Ryan Coyne but the American called off the fight due to contract issues.
"[Hawk] has a good record with a high KO ratio," BBC Sport quotes Cleverly as saying. "He's a big puncher and I won't treat him lightly because I can't get careless or reckless.
"He has a big opportunity by coming in late for a world title bid. He has nothing to lose. He is dangerous but I will be on my guard. I will be aiming to look good and will definitely be trying to take him out."
Hawk lost his last bout against Eleider Alvarez in June but the American pro has clinched 23 wins out of 26 fights.
