British heavyweight Anthony Joshua believes that he will retain his composure during his professional debut against Emanuele Leo on Saturday night.

British heavyweight Anthony Joshua believes that his professional debut will create feelings similar to that of his appearance in the Olympic final last year.

Joshua faces unbeaten Italian Emanuele Leo at the O2 Arena on Saturday evening, but the 23-year-old has insisted that he will be able to deal with the pressure that has been placed upon his shoulders.

The super-heavyweight Olympic champion told Sky Sports News: "I'll feel just like I did in the Olympic final. It's been a while, but this is a packed venue and everyone is here supporting the local boxers.

"The roar is going to go from my head to my toes, but I will stay composed. Once the bell goes, all that goes out of the window, and it's me and him trading leather."

Joshua is competing on a card that also features the WBA super-bantamweight title clash between Scott Quigg and Yoandris Salinas.
