Anthony Joshua says that a future fight against heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury is likely to be "fast-tracked".

British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has claimed that a fight against world champion Tyson Fury will be "fast-tracked".

Joshua will face Dillian Whyte in the ring at London's O2 Arena this weekend, but the Olympic champion already has his sights set on Fury.

The Manchester-born fighter stunned Wladimir Klitschko by ending his 11-year unbeaten run to take the WBA, WBO and IBF world heavyweight belts in Dusseldorf almost a fortnight ago.

"I'd fight for that belt 100%," The Mirror quotes Joshua as saying. "I've got to fight for that British belt first though. The thing with me and Fury, and it's the same as me and the Dillian Whyte fight, is that people want to see us fight.

"Champion or no champion - they want to see us fight. That's why it'll be made. Even though I'm not at that level, I think it'll be fast-tracked."

This weekend's bout will be Joshua's 15th professional fight.
