London 2012 silver medallist John Joe Nevin has signed a deal to join forces with Amir Khan's boxing stable, Super Fight Promotions.

Nevin won silver in the bantamweight division at the Olympics in August, and Khan has revealed that Nevin is the ideal person that they are looking to represent.

Khan said: "He is exactly the type of young, exciting, and gifted talent that we want under our banner."

Nevin is the second fighter to link up with the stable after Khan's brother Haroon also signed a deal to turn professional.
