Enzo Maccarinelli has admitted that he may struggle to adapt to the fighting style of Jurgen Braehmer when they meet for the WBO light-heavyweight title on Saturday.
Three wins in 2013 have helped revive the Welshman's career after four losses from eight fights at cruiserweight, and while revealing that he doesn't expect to draw Braehmer into a brawl, he has insisted that he is ready for the challenge against the German.
The 33-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "He is probably stylistically the worst one that I could have picked.
"I'd quite fancy my chances of having a square-up. Having a tear-up in the middle of the ring wouldn't frighten me in the slightest.
"He is a world champion, but I can quite honestly tell you I've never in my life turned a fight down."
Maccarinelli has 38 wins from 44 contests, while Braehmer has lost just twice in the same number of fights.
