British lightweight Derry Mathews has been provided with a new opponent for his interim WBA title bout in Liverpool on Saturday night.
Mathews had been scheduled to face world champion Richar Abril before the Cuban withdrew from the bout for a second time due to an ongoing illness.
That saw big-punching Ismael Barroso drafted in at nine days' notice, but the Venezuelan has encountered visa problems, which left Mathews without an opponent for a second time.
However, Canada's Tony Luis, who has 19 wins from 21 outings, will now take on the Liverpudlian for the vacant belt.
