Tickets for the highly-anticipated fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr and Manny Pacquiao will finally go on sale on Thursday evening.
With just nine days to go until the showdown at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, tickets for the bout are yet to go on general sale.
The reason behind this is believed to be a dispute between Mayweather Promotions and Pacquiao's promoter Bob Arum regarding the number of tickets and various conditions available for each camp.
According to the Daily Mail, Mayweather's advisor Al Haymon, CBS television boss Les Moonves and Arum met to discuss the deal, and now all issues have been ironed out.
"There's too much at stake for the plug to be pulled," Arum is quoted as saying. "All the matters have been agreed and the contract is being drawn up."
Only 1,000 tickets for the 16,500-capacity arena will go on general sale at 8pm today.
