British middleweight Martin Murray will defend his WBC silver belt against Italian Domenico Spada in Monte Carlo later this year.
Murray made his debut in Monaco in June when he secured a points win over Max Bursak, and that victory resulted in him striving for a shot at Miguel Cotto's WBC belt.
However, it has been revealed that the Mancunian will face 33-year-old Spada, who has won 39 of his 44 professional bouts, on October 25.
Spada is best known to British fans after losing a closely-fought bout with Darren Barker for the European title in 2011.
