Martin Murray has admitted that he is relieved his WBC middleweight title fight with Sergio Martinez has finally arrived.
The 30-year-old faces the Argentinian boxer in front of his opponent's home crowd in South America, and the undefeated fighter from St Helens has insisted that he won't let the jeers from the 40,000 supporters bother him.
Murray told the Daily Star: "I'm not really bothered about the booing because I will be relieved that the fight has finally arrived.
"Thousands of Argies screaming at me makes no difference, and I am just focused on getting the job done."
A draw with Germany's Felix Sturm is the only blip on Murray's 26-fight record.
