British light-middleweight Brian Rose has dismissed criticism from opponent Carson Jones ahead of their fight on Saturday night.
Jones, who has twice faced Kell Brook in England, has described Rose as a "basic fighter", but the former world title challenger vows to prove the American wrong at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool.
The 29-year-old told Sky Sports News: "I'm happy for him to write me off. I've got nothing bad to say about him. He's a good fighter. He's strong, he comes forward, he can punch a bit.
"In terms of what he has said about me, it's not true, and he can find that out for himself on Saturday night."
Saturday's contest is for the vacant WBC international title.
