Matchroom Sport has announced that Callum Smith and Rocky Fielding will meet for the British super-middleweight title at Liverpool's Echo Arena on November 7.
The Merseyside duo are both closing in on world title shots, but they have agreed to put their unbeaten records on the line in an attempt to win domestic honours for the first time.
Both fighters last competed on June 26, with Smith outlasting a stubborn Christopher Rebrasse over 12 rounds and Fielding producing a devastating performance to stop Brian Vera inside two rounds.
Smith's WBC Silver belt will also be on the line, with the winner likely to earn himself an opportunity to fight for that world title during the first half of 2016.
