Mike Tyson says that he would not like the person he used to be if he met him now.

Mike Tyson has said that there is "no way" he misses boxing as he does not like the person that he used to be.

The 45-year-old, who was once referred to as the "baddest man on the planet", has had a chequered past with the law and has even spent time behind bars for violent crimes.

One of the more infamous incidents of Tyson's ignominious behaviour in boxing was biting off a chunk of Evander Holyfield's ear during their 1997 rematch.

The American revealed that he never watches any of his old fights and has said that he has turned a corner in his life.

"I never watch any of those fights now. If I met that young guy right now, I know he wouldn't be nice to me. I don't like the person I was back then," Tyson told The Mirror. "He had no reason to be so angry. All that money and he still wanted to be angry. I should have been a little kid having fun.

"There is no way I miss boxing but if I was 17 or 18 years old again, it is still the first thing I would do. But my life has moved on. The WWE Hall of Fame night was one of the highlights of my life because my kids were there.

"I wanted them to see that Mike. I don't want them to know nothing about that other guy that I used to be. Now I'm trying to do all the right things."

Tyson, who is performing a one-man show at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, retired from boxing in 2005 following his loss to Kevin McBride.
