Mexican starlet Saul Alvarez scored a fifth-round knockout victory over Josesito Lopez to retain his WBC light middleweight title.
The 22-year-old was a heavy favourite going into the bout and scored a succession of early knockdowns to underline his superiority.
Lopez was downed in the second, third and fourth rounds before referee Joe Cortez brought the fight to an end with five seconds left in the fifth.
Victory for 'Canelo' secured the 30th stoppage win of his career, improving his impressive record to 40-0-1.
