British super-middleweight Frank Buglioni has suffered the first professional defeat of his career after being stopped by Sergey Khomitsky.
Buglioni, who was defending his WBO European belt, had been expected to overcome the tough Belarusian, who went the distance with Martin Murray in December.
However, Khomitsky looked the stronger of the two fighters from the first bell which resulted in Buglioni struggling to land any significant shots against his experienced opponent.
The finish came after Khomitsky badly wobbled Buglioni in the sixth, forcing the referee to call off the bout to see the Brit fall to 12 wins and one loss from 13 contests.
Elsewhere on the card, Chris Eubank Jnr knocked out Sandor Micsko in the second round, while Ovill McKenzie claimed the Commonwealth cruiserweight belt off Tony Conquest with a fifth-round stoppage.
