British lightweight Tommy Coyle has scored an impressive second-round stoppage win over Michael Katsidis in Hull.
Coyle was facing the toughest test of his career against the aggressive Australian, but the defending IBF international champion ended the fight in ruthless fashion.
The 25-year-old was being pressed against the ropes by the veteran before landing on the counter with a thudding left hand that sent Katsidis stumbling to the canvas.
Katsidis got to his feet before the end of the count but, after seeing that he was in no condition to continue, the referee waved off the contest.
Coyle could now face Luke Campbell in the summer after the Olympic gold medallist stopped Daniel Brizuela in five rounds.
