Tyson Fury marked his first appearance in 10 months with a fourth-round stoppage of Joey Abell.
The unbeaten heavyweight, who now has 22 victories in his professional career, knocked Abell down four times in the space of two rounds, but it was an unconvincing performance from the 25-year-old.
During the opening two rounds, Fury appeared to mock the ability of his opponent, who had 28 knockouts to his name, but Abell found success against the Brit, and the pair possibly shared the opening six minutes.
Abell continued to trouble Fury in round three, but a minute after a blatant low blow from the Mancunian, he took control of the fight by flooring the American.
Fury then dropped Abell twice more in the fourth to convince the referee to stop the bout and allow Fury to move closer to a rematch with Dereck Chisora in the summer.
