British heavyweight Anthony Joshua has stopped Konstantin Airich in three rounds to record the eighth victory of his professional career.
The 2012 Olympic gold medallist was taken past two rounds for the first time, but he always had too much for a game but limited opponent.
Joshua took the first two rounds, although Airich did offer the occasional counter, but the Londoner upped the tempo in the third to floor the German with a powerful flurry against the ropes.
Airich made the count, but it wasn't long before Joshua stepped in with more punches that forced his opponent's corner to throw in the towel.
The 25-year-old will be back in action on October 11 when he will face Denis Bakhtov for the vacant WBC international title.
