Scotland boxer Reece McFadden has claimed that he is relishing the attention he has received following his success at the Commonwealth Games.
McFadden has been elevated into the public eye after advancing into the semi-finals of the prestigious competition following wins over Andrew Selby, Charlie Edwards and Oteng Oteng.
Such attention can be overwhelming for some, but McFadden has said that he is "enjoying every minute of it".
"Oh definitely. I have been signing autographs, having pictures, getting text messages. After the Selby fight I got 875 friend requests on Facebook," he told Sports Mole.
"I have always been a well-liked guy back home because of my attitude, but this is just phenomenal.
"I am enjoying every minute of it. I love fighting, ever since I was a wee kid I have fought big guys and I just love it."
McFadden will fight Australia's Andrew Maloney in the semi-finals.
