Sweden's Anna Laurell has defeated Australia's Naomi-Lee Fischer-Rasmussen in the last 16 of the women's Olympic middleweight division.
The contrast in styles was evident from the first bell as Fischer-Rasmussen stormed out of the blocks, while the Swede used her jab to stay out of range.
The Australian was unloading with speedy combinations, but Laurell was landing with single straight shots.
Fischer-Rasmussen was finding it difficult to sustain her pace as Laurell began to dictate the tempo, taking a 10-7 lead at the halfway stage.
The Swede began to dominate proceedings from the third round and went on to secure a 24-17 victory.
