Team GB's eight men's boxers at the 2015 World Championships learn their fate after the draw for the competition is made.

Team GB's eight men's boxers have learned their fate for the AIBA World Championships, with the draw for the competition taking place on Monday.

The tournament officially gets underway on October 6 and three GB boxers will be competing on the first day. Harvey Horn will fight India's Devendro Laishram at 49kg, while Commonwealth Games silver medallist Qais Ashfaq takes on Russia's Bakhtovar Nazirov, who won gold at the 2015 European Games, at 56kg.

Pat McCormack will also be in action on Tuesday up against Dmitri Galagot of Moldova at 64kg. Ashfaq and McCormack also both know their next opponents should they progress, with Andy Gomez Cruz waiting at bantamweight and Vitaly Dunaytsev in the second round at light-welterweight.

On Wednesday, Wales' lightweight Joe Cordina will come up against Australia's Joshua Keirl, while welterweight Josh Kelly, who excelled at the European Games in Baku, takes on Nathan Webber, also of Australia.

Joshua Buatsi, who also took part in the European Games earlier this summer, is also in action on Wednesday and will box Korea's Hyeongkyu Kim at light-heavyweight.

Muhammed Ali, who will compete at 52kg, received a bye into the next round and will either take on either Vincenzo Picardi of Italy or Madam Lal of India in the second round. Ali will have revenge on his mind after his European Games bout with Picardi was stopped when the teenager suffered a cut.

Finally, Joe Joyce, who won Commonwealth Games gold in 2014 and also picked up the top prize at the European Games, also received a bye and will take on either Mohammed Arjaoui of Morocco or Mantas Valavicius of Lithuania in the second round at 91kg+.

The Worlds in Doha will act as a qualification event for the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.
