Turkey's Ferhat Pehlivan has defeated Carlos Suarez of Trinidad and Tobago in a scrappy light flyweight bout.
The fight started off at a ferocious pace, but soon settled down into a sloppy contest, where both men were struggling to stay on their feet.
The second round followed in the same vein, until Suarez decided to start showboating with some useless footwork and was told to engage by the referee.
Pehlivan landed the only clean punch of the round in the form of a straight left.
The Turk led 10-4 going into the final round, but Suarez decided to take the fight on and started to let fly.
However, he was given a warning for holding after being clocked with a decent left hand from Pehlivan.
The judges awarded Pehlivan a 16-6 decision.
