Uzbekistan's Jasurbek Latipov has advanced to the quarter-finals of the flyweight class with a comfortable victory over Hesham Abdelaal of Egypt.
Latipov made the better start, taking a two-point lead after a first round that was fought at a fairly leisurely pace.
The Uzbek caught his opponent with a nice left hook, before landing with the right to the body, forcing the referee to step in and issue a count.
Latipov controlled the action throughout the three rounds and went on to take a 21-11 decision.
