Russia's Egor Mekhontcev has produced a rousing finish to overcome Uzbekistan's Elshod Rasulov in the Olympic light heavyweight tournament.
There was nothing between the two fighters in the first two rounds, as both men seemed unwilling to take the front foot.
The scores were level at 10 points a piece as they headed for the crucial deciding round.
Mekhontcev began to find some success in the third round and was edging towards victory.
The Uzbek was physically spent by the end of the contest and was emotionally drained following the judges' 19-15 scoring in favour of the Russian.
