Carl Frampton and Kiko Martinez had to be pulled apart during the weigh-in for their super bantamweight showdown in Belfast.
The Spaniard, draped in his national flag, goaded the 25-year-old as they squared up to one another, making cut-throat gestures as Frampton looked on furiously.
There has been needle between the pair in the build-up to the fight, which has twice been postponed at Martinez's behest.
His EBU title, as well as the Northern Irishman's IBF Intercontinental strap, will be on the line.
