Afghanistan coach Andy Moles has admitted that he is shocked to have seen his side overcome Scotland to pick up their first ever win at the Cricket World Cup earlier today.
The minnows claimed a one-wicket victory in the Pool A clash with three balls to spare to pull off the historic feat.
Having recovered from 97-7 to overhaul 210 in the final over in Dunedin, Moles was quick to praise his group of players.
"I've seen some strange things down the years but that was one of the most remarkable," the Englishman is quoted as saying by BBC Sport. "The players are so passionate and have worked so hard. I'm delighted."
Afghanistan take on co-hosts Australia in their next match on Wednesday.
