Australia wicket-keeper Brad Haddin has insisted that he can unify the side and help them upset the odds by winning back the Ashes this summer.
The 35-year-old was named as the vice-captain in an inexperienced 16-man squad for this summer's series, in which only five of its members have played an Ashes Test match in England before.
However, Haddin is confident that he can help bring back the 'Aussie spirit' on the way to claiming a remarkable series victory.
"The bottom line is we have to find a way to bring this squad back together," Haddin told SEN.
"We are all going over there for one thing, we've got to get the Ashes back. Nothing else matters.
"We've got to come together and make sure we are successful in bringing back the urn."
Australia released their full squad for the Ashes on Wednesday.
