Lancashire have signed Australia fast bowler Peter Siddle for the first half of the 2015 season.
The 30-year-old will be at Old Trafford from the beginning of the campaign until the end of July.
Siddle has taken 192 Test wickets at an average of 30.45 and Lancashire cricket director Ashley Giles is delighted to welcome a 'world-class' seamer to their ranks.
"Peter is a world class bowler with a tremendous pedigree," former England spinner Giles told the club's official website.
"Having him available for such an extended period will give our County Championship campaign a real boost."
Siddle, who was an ever present in the Australia team for the back-to-back Ashes series in 2013-14, took 37 first-class wickets in a spell at Nottinghamshire last term.
